Facial Esthetics
Dr.Tyler has completed thorough training on the use of Botox and dermal fillers for TMJ disorders and the treatment of Bruxism, as well as for esthetic purposes to treat frown lines, smile lines, deep lines around your mouth, and thin lips.
 
Botox
Botox injections help smooth wrinkles on the forehead and around the eyes and can also help TMJ and facial pain. Botox uses a special protein to block overactive nerve impulses, restricting mucle contractions. Botox helps relax the muscles beneath the skin so that fine lines and wrinkles become less visible, giving skin a healthy, more youthful appearance.Botox is also used to help TMJ and facial pain by reducing the amount of stress placed on the teeth and jaw so that patients feel more comfortable.
 
Juverderm Ultra
Safe and effective, Juverderm Ultra can give you a fuller, younger look and create a more natural appearance. Known as a hyaluronic acid filler, a substance that is a natrual part of the body, it is used to fill wrinkles around the mouth (called nasolabial folds) as well as plump thin lips.
 
Depending on each individual case, the results of Botox can last between one and six months and Juverderm Ultra results can last up to 14 months.Treatment is temporary: once it begins to wear off, the skin will return to the way it looked before treatment.
